Srinivasan Services Trust (SST)
At TVSM we have one such wing, Srinivasan Services Trust (SST), which continuously strives towards building a sustainable model by metamorphosing thousands of lives and at the same time carving a powerful statement of what we as an organization stand for. SST, works with communities and government to build awareness and skill to support India’s rural folk; find solutions that are sustainable and help to alter their attitudes to bring change and take ownership of their growth and future. It takes years to cultivate a sustainable development and we are proud that SST has spread its wings across 5 states, covering 3500 villages transforming 457,000 families and bringing smiles to 2 million people in just 20 years. At SST, the team only aims to drive the push for transformation and steps aside once the stakeholder is ready to take over. The communities themselves take ownership for creating leaders to keep their environment clean, to become self-sufficient with the power of collaboration and breaking caste barriers. As a tree which is deep rooted and spreads its shade to all who pass-by, similarly team at SST is deeply connected with people they work with and feel contend when they see them progress. They also focus on planting more seeds by sharing the stories of spiritedness and optimism of these communities, with an aim to achieve a positive impact on society as a whole.
