Purpose

To provide special training to employee’s children (ward) for enabling them corporate ready and employable.

Duration

Duration of the training period will be one year.

Applicability

Confirmed Employees of TVSM (existing / retired).
[Son / Daughter / Son-in-law / Daughter-in-law / own brother / own sister]

Educational qualification criteria

Successfully passed out Diploma / Graduation / Post-Graduation with consistent academic record (minimum 60% aggregate and above).

Procedure

  • Employee to submit the resume along with academic certificate copies according to the eligibility to ERM with a covering letter
  • The application will be processed with the concurrence of Head ERM
  • Candidate will be considered for training based on current requirement of TVSM or its group companies and meeting the general criteria
  • Applications will be processed as first in first out order
  • If all above criteria is fulfilled then the candidate will be called for an interview by a panel & based on her/ his performance and subject to medical fitness, will be considered for training in TVSM & group companies, with the prior approval of P&CEO

Other guidelines

  • Only one person in an employee’s family (among the people listed above) will be considered for training
  • There will not be any preference on location / company / department / section
  • During training period, candidates will be bound by the code of conduct & abide by the rules & regulations of the company
  • After successful completion of the training, certificate for completion of training will be provided on the last working day of training tenure by ERM/ HRD, on obtaining no dues clearance

Stipend & Benefits

  • Stipend will be paid as per ‘Special trainees’ scheme
  • Selected candidates will also be extended uniform, subsidized canteen and transport facility (Transport facility not applicable for Bangalore)
  • The trainees will work on a 6 days’ work week pattern
  • Trainees are eligible for 21 days of leave for a period of one year. The leaves may be availed subject to approval from the Manager
  • They will also be eligible for Compensatory off / permission and 6 days Maintenance off, if the company declared during the year
  • Based on the nature of work, they will be provided with the office infrastructure

FAQs

No, this policy is applicable only for direct relative (Son/ Daughter) of current employee of TVSM
After Interview, it takes some time to take the approval & communicate results, however you can check with concerned person in ERM/ HRD for the status
If a trainee choose to reside in Hosur, She/ he will be eligible for transport subsidy, however for any candidate choose to stay in Bangalore then they have to make their own arrangements for travel. Canteen subsidy will be provided to all candidates.
