Helmet and seat belt usage policy

Purpose

Towards ensuring safety of employees and thus minimizing the possibility of accidents as a result of motor vehicle crashes

Applicability

All employees of factory and non-factory locations

Guidelines

Employee should compulsorily wear helmet / seatbelt while driving the vehicle
Seatbelt / helmet shall be worn by drivers and passengers in all vehicles owned or rented at all times. This also applies to the operation of privately owned or other vehicles
In case, they are not using the helmet and safety belt for 3 occasions the following actions will be taken :
- Mediclaim insurance policy will be withdrawn for self & dependents for the current policy year
- Medical treatment from OHC will also be withdrawn

Incase of safety measures is not available, request you to kindly report to GAD

Any violation would lead to withdrawal of medical support (medi-claim / Insurance) for self or immediate family

Following safety measures is required for one’s own responsibility , however if not adhered would be penalized accordingly
