Purpose
Considering road safety, helmet is provided to the employees for their usage, both official / personal purpose
Applicability
All regular employees of factory and non-factory locations
Eligibility
Helmet will be provided to the employee once in 5 years (maximum 3 times for an employee) subject to holding valid Driving Licence and TVSM brand vehicle

How to apply
- Employee needs to fill up ‘Helmet request form’ (specimen enclosed) available with Departmental secretaries / Time offices / Area accountants and submit to Time Office along with valid DL and RC of our brand vehicle
Distribution
In case of factory location
- Plant ERM Time office will verify against policy and give concurrence for issuing the Helmet
- Employee can then collect the Helmet from IDM stores with Helmet request form duly approved by Plant ERM
In case of non-factory location
- Concerned ERM/HR will verify and advise finance for payment of Rs.925/- into their bank account
Guidelines
- Helmet will be issued once in 5 years and maximum 3 times for an employee
- This policy is not applicable for Trainees and Contract employees
- In case, helmet is required for usage within factory premises / work location premises for company / GAD registered vehicles, the employee can contact GAD through Departmental secretary and obtain helmet through Plant ERM
- Helmet to be used mandatorily by the employee while on duty or even otherwise while driving the two-wheeler
