C-off Hours eligibility (Credit)

For employees all categories of employees, who work on weekly off / National holiday can apply for C-off credit.

  • Any employee working for a minimum of 4.5 hours either in first or second session or full shift as per company specified shift timings can claim credit
  • Any Executive working more than the shift hours during weekly off / holiday, can claim C-off
    • 6 Day Pattern: Minimum 2 hours and maximum 4 hours (excluding half an hour break) after shift hours
    • Alternate Saturday Pattern: Minimum 3 hours and maximum of 4 hours after shift hours

Executives, (A1 – B2) - who work beyond shift on working days:

  • Executives working on 6 days’ pattern are eligible for C-off credit if they work minimum 2 hours (Excl. half an hour break) after completion of prescribed shift
  • Executives working (Alternate Saturday pattern) who worked for minimum 3 hours beyond shift timings can apply for C-off credit through online. Maximum limit of claiming C-off credit is 4 hours.

C-off Hours eligibility (Debit)

  • All employees can use C-off hours 2 hours, Half day and full day
  • All employees availing C-off more than 2 hours will be considered as half day and more than 4.5 hours will be treated as full day

C-off Encashment

All employees shall avail their credited C-off hours on a later date through online. C-off accumulated over and above 180 hours shall be en-cashed on the same month salary


General

  • C-off credit & debit request should be raised within one month (30 days) from the worked or availed date, - else C-off request will not be processed without proper Justification
  • Executives and Managers - can avail C-off upto 2 hours but cannot club with half day leave/Permission
  • C-off debit for Holidays / Weekly off / Alternate Saturday is not applicable
  • C-off can be clubbed with flexi work hours as per flexi work hours' policy

FAQs

C-off is not eligible for employees, who are on travel during weekly off, as they are availing boarding and lodging
If you are availing , C-off on any day after shift change, guidelines for that shift would be applicable eg if change from six day pattern to alternate Saturday pattern, minimum three hours of work after shift time is required to avail C-off
You are expected to avail within one month, in case, if reason is genuine, you can apply by inter -Office-memo with an approval from Manager.
Maximum 4 hours can be availed as per policy. Additional hours may not be applicable. In case you have worked on weekly off and are working continuously on two shifts, you can avail full day C-off.
